One of the contracts concerning the replacement of heating networks in three neighborhoods of the city was signed back in April 2023.
Subsequently, due to unreasonable delays in construction and installation works, the city's housing and communal services department filed a lawsuit in the specialized interdistrict economic court of the Almaty region to terminate the contract and declare LLP "Sheberbuild" an unscrupulous participant in the public procurement procedure.
The contract was unilaterally terminated, and a new tender was held on the public procurement portal. As a result, the replacement of the aforementioned heating networks was undertaken by a new contractor – LLP "Ramboll Corp." Currently, 70% of the construction and installation work has been completed.
Another project with the same contractor involved the construction of three apartment buildings in neighborhood No. 10 of Konev. The initial plan was to commission the housing by the end of last year. However, according to city authorities, due to the negligent attitude of the construction company towards its responsibilities, the housing handover had to be postponed to a later date.
As a result, the contract with the company was also terminated. Under a new contract signed in September of this year, the unfinished residential projects were handed over to LLP "Sanur Stroy-A." According to local authorities, 95% of the construction and installation work has now been completed, and by the end of November, 180 families will receive their long-awaited homes. Among them are large families, people with disabilities, and other representatives of socially vulnerable groups.
Interestingly, LLP "Sheberbuild" also "distinguished itself" while carrying out major repairs at school No. 12 in the village of Nura, Talgar district. The work here began in 2023, with 1.1 billion tenge allocated from the state budget.
At the beginning of this year, the project customer, the Talgar district education department, filed a lawsuit against the contractor, accusing it of disrupting the schedule. Subsequently, a court ruling recognized LLP "Sheberbuild" as an unscrupulous participant in the public procurement procedure.
