Recently, an additional 18 buses were acquired. According to the mayor of Nur-Sultan, Nurbola Nursagatov, new routes have been established to enhance accessibility to remote neighborhoods, including "Komsomolsky" and "Karagayly." A comprehensive plan for the further development of public transport is currently being developed.
The recent upgrade of the bus fleet has been made possible due to subsidies provided to transportation companies. Two years ago, only about 50% of the required buses were in operation in the city, but today this figure has risen to 75%. The local executive authority is tasked with fully meeting the public transportation needs of the regional center across all active routes and minimizing downtime.
