Tokayev and Satkaliev discussed the acceleration of the nuclear power plant construction project in Kazakhstan.

“Kassym-Jomart Tokayev was briefed on the progress of the heating season and the operations of major heating and energy supply facilities. The head of state instructed to keep the issues concerning the heating season and the implementation of energy infrastructure modernization projects under special control,” the presidential press service reported.

During the meeting, the president also emphasized the importance of expediting the construction project for a nuclear power plant in Kazakhstan.
