Chat folders have been introduced in WhatsApp.

Experts have gone a step further and proposed a new feature – the ability to create lists for better organization of chats.

“This is convenient for people who have many conversations and helps them focus on what truly matters. To create a list, you need to click the + on the filter panel at the top of the 'Chats' tab, and to edit it, just press and hold,” the developers explained.

Lists function similarly to the "Favorites" feature: you can include both group and personal chats. The created lists will appear on the filter panel.

Additionally, WhatsApp has launched the list creation feature in testing mode. Currently, it may not be available to all users, but this will be addressed in the coming weeks. The company also plans to enhance this feature by adding new sorting and organization options to prioritize important contacts and messages.
