“They have been found guilty of repeatedly accepting bribes as part of a group in collusion with local residents in exchange for not holding them administratively accountable for illegal haymaking in the serviced area. Abylkasimov and Shalapanov have been sentenced to a fine of 10.5 million tenge each, while Beisenov has been fined 15.7 million tenge,” the Anti-Corruption Agency reported.
By the same verdict, residents of the Alakol district, Bulgunchinov O and Kanagatov K, have been sentenced to fines of 6 million tenge and 2.2 million tenge respectively for bribing the mentioned officials.
Furthermore, the convicted individuals are permanently prohibited from holding positions in public service and in entities of the quasi-public sector.
The court ruling has come into legal force.
