Compensation for the increase in utility rates is ongoing.

“Payments of 0.8 MRP will be provided until April 1, 2025. Since July 2023, under the instruction of the akim, more than 140,000 citizens from 9 categories of SUSN have already received monthly payments as part of the 'Tariff for Investment' program,” the city akimat noted.

To receive the payment, it is necessary to:

• have permanent residence in Almaty;
• submit an application to the district akimat;
• provide an identification document.

For those already receiving payments, reapplying is not required — payments will be extended automatically.
