Starting from January 1, 2025, all services related to disinfection, pest control, and rodent control must be licensed.
“There are 23 institutions under the department's supervision that provide disinfection, pest control, and rodent control services: eight in Aktau, two in Zhanaozen, four in Beineu, three each in Tupkaragan and Munaily districts, two in Karaki, and one in the Mangistau region. Institutions providing these services in accordance with the law 'On Amendments and Additions to Certain Legislative Acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Biological Safety' are required to obtain a license within six months from the date the regulations come into effect. These services are classified as having high epidemiological significance, so they must obtain a conclusion from the territorial department of sanitary and epidemiological supervision regarding compliance with the requirements,” the department's press service noted.
Applications for obtaining a license for disinfection, pest control, and rodent control services should be submitted to the Department of Sanitary and Epidemiological Supervision of the Mangistau Region via the e-government web portals www.egov.kz, www.elicense.kz.
The department reminded residents that starting in 2025, when receiving the aforementioned services, they should request to see the license.
