As part of the legislative initiative, there are plans to develop an information system, as well as to introduce monitoring and analysis of aquaculture. This was announced by the Deputy Minister of Agriculture, Amanhali Berdalin.

“To this end, the system will include registers of all aquaculture entities. There will also be traceability in aquaculture. We will continue to advance the digitalization of this sector,” Berdalin stated during the plenary session of the Mazhilis.

According to him, this will serve as one of the control methods and will help prevent corruption from developing.

“For this purpose, the republican budget has allocated 120 million tenge for the establishment of such an information system in 2026-2027. Furthermore, this system will be integrated with other information systems of government agencies, such as Customs, the state electronic government portal, the veterinary service of the EASU, and the subsidy system of the EGISS,” the speaker added.
